Why do I need to log in?

For your own security, we require you to log in to your account. We use your details to be able to contact you regarding your order and to inform you of any changes to the website. We do not pass on any information about our customers to any third parties.

 
How do I log in?

You need to be an existing SHARED EARTH customer, and have an account number and password in order to access our online shop. You log in using your account number and password. Please contact our sales team if you would like to buy online.

What if I have forgotten my password?

If you have forgotten your password, click on the link below and we will email you with your password.

How can I set up a wholesale account

If you are an existing business wishing to sell our products, please contact our sales team who will set up an account for you. You may then log in and purchase goods on-line. Alternatively, you may order by phone, fax or post. For your first order, we require payment to be received before the goods are despatched. You will be sent a credit application form with your pro-forma invoice. Please complete and return this form if you wish us to set up a 30-day credit account for subsequent orders.

How do I find and select a product?

There are different ways to find products:

1. Click on the appropriate links to browse through the categories. You will be shown up to 12 products per page. You may click "buy" from here to purchase a product (click "buy" multiple times to purchase multiple quantities), or click the product to show more detail and a larger picture.

2. At the top right hand side of the screen is a search facility. You may enter part of a product description, e.g. bag, or the name of a supplier, or a product code. You will be shown the products that match your search request, up to 12 per page. From here you may buy or click a product for more detail and a larger picture.
 
3. If you know the product codes of the items you wish to purchase, you may select the "quick order" link. From here you key the product codes and quantities that you require.

Are all your products available to purchase on-line?

All the products in our current catalogues are available to purchase on-line.

Can I see if a product is out of stock?

The stock status (i.e. "in stock" or "out of stock") is shown against each product. However, please be aware that the stock levels are only updated to the website once per day, and therefore may not be completely up-to-date. If you place an order for a product that is out of stock, one of our sales team will contact you you to see if you would like an alternative product or if you would like it leaving on back order. Only back orders totalling £40 or more will be sent out. If less, we will wait until we receive another order from you.

Is ordering from your website secure?

Yes, SHARED EARTH uses data encryption preventing unauthorised parties from reading the information that you send and receive.

How much is the delivery cost?

Your goods should arrive within 5-7 working days. Our sales team will contact you if any products are out of stock.

What do I do if I am not happy with any goods?

We will accept return of goods in a re-saleable condition for credit. They must be well packed for return transit. If you wish to return any goods, please contact our sales team who will give you delivery instructions.

What is Fair Trade?

Fair trade means giving producers a decent price for their work, ensuring that working conditions are safe, with adequate heat, ventilation, etc. avoiding the exploitation of children, women and other oppressed groups and trying to ensure that trade benefits the community as well as the individual. By buying our products, you are participating in this process.

How are you helping the environment?

We try to ensure that the materials used in our products are sustainable. Most of our paper products are made from recycled or handmade paper. We are constantly working to increase our range of products made from recycled materials.
