A charm of goldfinches flits across golden fields, pausing among the teasels to feed and keep a close eye on one another. Their flashes of red, black and yellow stand out beautifully against the rich ochre landscape, while distant hills and a lone tree give the scene a wonderful sense of open countryside.

The artwork is by Hampshire wildlife illustrator Rachel Hudson, whose colourful, stylised work brings species and habitats to life. Rachel spent nine years working in wildlife conservation before becoming a full time illustrator, and that understanding of nature gives her images a real sense of character and place. Her work is created to help people pause, notice and feel more connected to the wildlife around them.

Blank inside, the card is ready for birthdays, thank you notes, thoughtful hellos or a few cheerful words for someone who appreciates garden birds. A group of goldfinches is rather delightfully called a charm, and these little fellows appear determined to live up to the name.

Measuring 15.5 × 15.5cm, it is made from FSC certified card and comes with an FSC envelope. The card and envelope are neatly held together with a paper shoulder band.
