James has joined our office staff in York, and within the last 2 years, Krisnha, Theresia, Chivas and Vincent have joined our team in Bali, supervised by Yuli, our Supplier Director. We have always wanted to involve suppliers in the way we run our business, and now we’re starting to do so. With a growing business we need extra staff, and data collection for the new environmental laws being passed in the EU will add to our workload.  Jeremy Piercy Founder / MD Jeremy founded Shared Earth in 1986 after a life changing journey to India. A pioneer in Fair Trade and environmental values, he is our key buyer.  Jenny Harland Retail Director Jenny joined us in 2006 and manages our shops and trade shows. She has visited our producers in India and Bali and is a board member of WFTO Europe. My Favourite Product: “Jewellery, all of it, I absolutely love our full range and wear our earrings almost every day.”
 Paul Edmondson Accounts Director Paul left school at age 16 with no qualifications, joined us in 1997, and worked evenings to qualify as an accountant in 2009. He’s the bulwark of our business, and also our IT maestro. My Favourite Product: “Wooden hand carved dolphins from Bali which we no longer sell... Why not?”
 David Piercy Wholesale Director David joined us in 2014 and manages key accounts. He has visited suppliers across Asia and is liked and respected by everyone who knows him. My Favourite Product: “EA2004, I’m a big lover of British wildlife and this is a fantastic design and a great seller for us.”
 Yuliana Sjahlendra Supplier Director Yuliana became our agent in Bali in 2018 and a director in 2023. She runs Sjahlendra Handicraft and works with over 40 producer groups in Bali. My Favourite Product: “The Jute Bag. Vibrant colours, cheerful designs and truly unique!”
 Chivas Aimon Future Superstar? Chivas oversees daily operations, logistics and finance in Bali, and is now being trained to manage our website. My Favourite Product: “I really love musical instruments. Music helps me relax, express myself and enjoy the moment.”
 Vincent Chris Visual Creator Vincent creates content across design. He helps showcase Shared Earth products through images and creative content for our website. My Favourite Product: “I like our hanging chairs because they’re so cozy and make any space feel more relaxing.”
 Paula Ellis Bless You Darling Have any problems? Or just want a chat? Speak to Paula, our customer care supremo since 2019. She’s the best. My Favourite Product: “Canvas bags! I love upcycled products and would buy one of each design if I could!”
 Sheree Johnson Accounts & Admin Sheree joined us in 2022. She works remotely from Sheffield, helping to ensure everything runs efficiently behind the scenes. My Favourite Product: “I love the Organic Goodness candles and air fresheners. Their natural ingredients and long-lasting fragrances bring a fresh, cosy feel to my home.”
 Niamh Mumford Designer Niamh is a prolific designer and responsible for most of our recent best-selling designs. She also designs our catalogues. My Favourite Product: “SONG517 ‘Iris Illusion’ incense. It smells divine and the packaging is really beautiful too.”
 James Parsley Sales James worked in our Liverpool shop as a student, then joined our office in 2025. He’s friendly, works hard and enjoys fishing in his spare time. My Favourite Product: “TAR2133 gorara rectangle soap dish. A great gift which also has amazing benefits to the artisans and their communities.”
 Chris Piercy Important Person Chris has been with us since 2015. He pays the bills and manages credit control. Best to keep him on your side! He plays rugby and basketball and is a budding author. My Favourite Product: “I love the soapstone chess sets. Because they’re all beautifully hand carved.”
 Theresia Aimon Design & Supplier Support Theresia supports design, liaises with producers and photographs our Bali products. She joined us in 2024 and we love her for her dedication and kindness. My Favourite Product: “I love jewellery, especially bracelets! Pretty pieces that add fun and personality.”
 Gina Stalley General Dogsbody From our York shop to solving problems behind the scenes, Gina keeps everything running smoothly across orders, warehouse and suppliers. My Favourite Product: “I love the Bicycle pizza cutter (NA2287), because it’s useful and unique.”
 Krisnha Wirawan Shipping Krishna coordinates shipments, manages orders, and adds new products to our system. Based in Bali, he is a true hard worker. My Favourite Product: “Star Wars recycled tin wall hanging (RG2302L). Fun, nostalgic and unique!”
