Two curlews pause beside the water among tufts of cotton grass, their wonderfully long, curved bills making them unmistakable. Behind them, distant hills and a passing flock create a scene that feels full of space, fresh air and the gentle bustle of the natural world getting on with its day.

The artwork is by Hampshire wildlife illustrator Rachel Hudson, whose colourful, stylised work brings species and habitats to life. Before becoming a full time illustrator, Rachel spent nine years working in wildlife conservation, and that understanding of nature runs quietly through everything she creates. Her illustrations are designed to reconnect people with the natural world, turning a greeting card into a small invitation to stop, look and notice.

Blank inside, the card leaves plenty of room for birthdays, thank you messages, thoughtful hellos or a few carefully chosen words for someone who knows that curlews are always worth pausing for.

Measuring 15.5 × 15.5cm, it is made from FSC certified card and comes with an FSC envelope. The card and envelope are neatly held together with a paper shoulder band.
