With a beautifully bright yellow that lights up any room and fuzzy wings destined to make your heart fluter, our little felt bee is the perfect way to appreciate nature and wildlife all year round! Every stitch is full of character and personality.

Made from 90% wool, which is often broken down recycled wool, 5% cotton and the same for acrylic. It’s sourced from local markets in India, close to our supplier in Mumbai and its strong defined shape comes from the specific felting technique used by them that differs from the traditional Nepalese felting technique often seen. We think they’re quirky and fun and are sure to bring lots of joy into peoples lives.

Approximate size: 6cm

Handmade in Mumbai, India by a Fair Trade organisation with sustainable development at its heart. With 800 artisans and over 300 women empowered, they encourage the use of sustainable raw materials and employ parents to help their children gain an education and a financially stable home that is safe from poverty. They work closely with grassroots projects that help artisans set up businesses, learn IT skills and gain access to machinery and tools to perfect their craft. Artisans are provided with grants and opportunities to build a successful future, as well as access to medical camps that give free check-ups and medicine to the surrounding community. It also helps support over 100 children through education, whilst providing necessities like books and shoes. For example, they have a 'feeding the family' initiative that distributes food & other essentials to 1,955 artisans' families of 9,009 individuals across the craft centres. Many of the recipients have said without these food packages they would simply have starved throughout the pandemic and would not still be here.
