Small enough to tuck amongst your favourite treasures but with plenty of history to make it stand out, these original old padlocks have been collected and upcycled into wonderfully characterful decorative pieces, each complete with its own key.

Every lock has earned its aged appearance through years of use. Worn metal, old maker’s marks, stamped lettering, scratches and naturally developed patina all give clues to its previous life. No two are exactly the same, so the padlock you receive will have a story and personality entirely of its own.

Perfect displayed on a shelf, desk or sideboard, they sit beautifully alongside other vintage and reclaimed finds. The original key adds an extra little piece of history. What did it once keep safely locked away? We’ll probably never know, which is half the fun.

Giving these old padlocks a new purpose means their character can be enjoyed for years to come rather than being forgotten. Their marks, areas of rust, colour variations and signs of previous use are not imperfections to hide, they are exactly what makes each piece special.
