A mirror with a past life and plenty of character to prove it. This wonderfully rustic piece has been created from an original wooden brick mould, transforming something once used for practical, everyday work into a distinctive mirror for the home.

The reclaimed wood has been left beautifully characterful, with its original grain, worn edges, old nail holes, markings and natural variations all adding to the story. Rather than trying to make the timber look new, its history is very much part of the appeal. No two mirrors will ever be exactly the same.

Its tall, narrow shape makes it particularly useful for smaller spaces and those little stretches of wall that are crying out for something interesting. Hang it in a hallway, bedroom or bathroom, or use it amongst a collection of reclaimed pieces to bring warmth, texture and a little unexpected history to the room.

Giving an old brick mould a completely different purpose keeps existing materials in use while celebrating the character they have gathered over time. After spending its first life making bricks, becoming a mirror feels like a rather well earned change of career.
